DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING / REPORT WORKSPACE

MRI, CT and X-ray report intake

Upload reports or individual imaging files for optional local AI-assisted review. Computer-generated observations are unverified and cannot replace a complete radiology interpretation.

Upload a report or image

TXT, CSV, PDF and up to three JPEG, PNG or supported DICOM files per review. The application accepts files up to 24 MB each; images sent to Ollama have stricter decoding and size limits. PHP upload limits also apply.

A screenshot or one DICOM slice is not the complete examination. Technical image quality, modality, and orientation may be unknown.

How image review works

1. Check Ollama image capabilities

If moo-ai:latest supports vision, it can inspect the image. Otherwise an installed local vision model must describe the pixels first. Models without vision are never told that they directly viewed the scan.

2. Generate a cautious description

The output separates unverified observations, possible considerations, questions for a radiologist, and image limitations. It cannot reliably detect all abnormalities.

3. Moo-AI organizes the findings

When a separate vision model is used, moo-ai:latest may organize its description without access to the image. The original model description stays visible for comparison.

DICOM studies

Uncompressed, monochrome DICOM may be sampled locally when the optional Python DICOM converter is installed. Compressed, color, multi-series and unsupported studies require a PACS/radiology workflow. A few sampled frames do not constitute a complete study review.

No local general-purpose model is validated here for autonomous MRI, CT or X-ray diagnosis. Do not use AI output to rule out acute findings, delay emergency evaluation or replace a radiology report.
