Here, we build a machine learning classifier to classify the comments into the two categories “news” and “humour” and represent the comments as vectors using a bag of words approach. We evaluate our model on the test-set and report its accuracy, precision, recall and F1-score and plot a confusion matrix to demonstrate our model’s performance. Also, there are examples of comments where our model performed well and where it failed.
