Seventh wonder of the world – Taj Mahal Agra, home to three world heritage sites, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur sikiri. The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble marvel. A mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (reigned 1628–1658),in the memory of his favorite wife, MumtazMahal. The tomb is the centrepiece of a 42-acre complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a wall. One of the 10 paradises of the world by National Geographic – Kerala Kerala is a state located at south-western coast of India.
