Manual identification of cows and buffaloes in farms and markets is time-consuming, requires expertise, and often causes errors due to similar body shape, lighting, angles, and background noise. Hence, an image-based classifier is needed to automatically and accurately recognize cattle or buffalo with minimal human intervention.
